Ms Lisa McAnena

Lisa McAnena graduated from NUI Galway with honours in 2007. She completed a 2-year BST in Medicine, followed by BST and HST in Surgical Ophthalmology, predominantly in Dublin. She completed a Masters in Surgery with RCSI and an interim fellowship in Refractive Ophthalmology with Prof Michael O'Keefe in 2014. She received Fellowship of the RCSI in 2018 and went on to complete Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Royal London Hospital and Great Ormond St Hospitals, followed by a Fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology at Moorfield's Eye Hospital, London. She has been in the current post at The Mater and Beaumont Hospitals since 2021. She is a member of the Irish College of Ophthalmologists (ICO), the UK Neuro-ophthalmic Society (UKNOS) and the British Isles Neuro-ophthalmology Club (BINOC).
